Why Perform Navgraha Puja?
In Hindu astrology, Surya, Chandra, Mangal, Budh, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu and Ketu are considered the Navgraha (nine planets). It is believed that the position of these planets in the birth chart is connected to various aspects of life.
If the position of a planet in the kundli is considered unfavourable, or if there are repeated obstacles, financial problems, stress or other difficulties in life, devotees perform puja, mantra jaap, havan or daan to pray for peace and positivity from the Navgraha.
When to Perform Navgraha Puja?
Navgraha Puja is performed as per astrological advice or before starting any important work. People perform Navgraha Puja at times such as a new job, new business, marriage, griha pravesh or when facing continuous obstacles in life.
